This album was started in late October as an experiment to make minimalist compositions to help aid in better sleep. One goal was to create loops that were long enough to not be perceived as being looped. Another goal was to leave as much hiss and artifacts in the recordings as possible, but not enough to pull the listener away from a state of relaxation. Those gentle pops and crackles were also left in to help facilitate lucid dreaming. To pull the listener out just enough to realize they are dreaming, but not enough to startle.

These recordings are all very close in length. This is to help at a later date to release them on cassette. Hopefully, within the next year. Previous napCore albums will also be released on cassette. I spent a few days deciding whether or not I should make them even longer, or even different lengths. Cost of blank cassettes played a role in the decision to make them fit on 40 minute cassettes. I may make more extreme lengths for streaming platforms at a later date.

Do not listen to this album while driving, operating heavy equipment, or using power tools.
